Why don’t we indulge ourselves in a little leap year Showdown, where we have a little friendly comparison of artists that cover/remix the same songs and then vote for the one we think pulled it off better.
Those that are heavy Hip-Hop listeners should be familiar with “Stay Schemin'”, a song by Rick Ross featuring Drake & French Montana. The beat is too sick to ignore, and it would seem a lot of other MCs would agree with me – hence the proliferation of remixes all over Youtube/Soundcloud/Bandcamp and the like. Today, we have 5 in particular we’d like you to listen to/watch and let us know which one is the best flip. Interestingly enough, all the rappers in this Showdown are from the West, repping the whole cost from San Diego to Seattle.
