Tsutomu “Tom” Shimura, better to known to most as Lyrics Born, has always been vocal about representing the Bay Area of California. He’s frequently referenced his home in his songs and projects, and frequently tweets about the area and it’s demographic. For those that follow him on Twitter, you may have seen his various musings on the people and locations that he calls home. They range from the curious to the bizarre and now, they are compiled in a book to be released on June 12th – Yes, Bay Area. The title is now available for pre-order from LB’s site!
“Yes, Bay Area” is a collection of Tweets that have been compiled from over the past 2 years and features LB’s funny and insightful musings on the San Francisco Bay Area’s rich and diverse culture.
Prompted by the suggestions of hundreds of fans on Twitter and Facebook, “Yes, Bay Area” is the first of its kind for LB and sees the veteran MC, Producer and Voiceover artist once again stepping into new territory and breaking new ground in a career constantly expanded by his bold and out-of-the-box approach. Featuring artwork by the Bay Area’s own, Eddie Colla and Jason Malig, the book is through and through a testament to the San Francisco Bay Area.
