This isn’t exactly about an Asian-American/English-speaking act, but it’s not a far stretch either as Korean Pop group 2NE1 has been slowly aiming to take over the world, as of late. They’ve been rumored to debut in the states anytime now, despite the lack of success from some big names preceding them (BoA, Se7en, Wonder Girls and Girls Generation come to mind). On their current North American tour, they made a stop in Jersey to speak with The Fader. It’s a short, light interview but it definitely shows that the girls have been working on their English speaking skills (although leader, CL, does most of the talking).
