Out of nowhere, we have an unexpected return from Lan Li aka Worldismarble. Her new acoustic pop song is called “Echoes” and has a catchy bounce to it. It’s in raw demo form though, and I’m hoping we here something a little more polished and official, soon. In case you’ve forgotten, Worldismarble was one of the 2010 ISA breakout performer contest winners (along with Sam Ock).
Tossed in the radio waves
Stay low when want they want to hear you
Before you walk and try to send a sound
When the winds they knock you down
So you lie there for a while
Doesn’t matter how they try to lure you out
No body’s gonna be there when you holler when you’re calling
No body’s gonna be there until you find your piece of mindCome back when you want to go back, but it’s just a shame when they shut you out
Look at whatever you fought at turn around to make it better than that and
Wait a little, want a little, give in a little
Shut it down and
Have a little, hurt a little, won’t you waste a little
Put it out andCarried this for too long
Hang low where they wouldn’t hear you
Before you come out to say your thoughts aloud
When the winds they knock you down
So you lie there for a while
Doesn’t matter how they try to lure you out
No body’s gonna be there when you’re focused on the colors
No body’s gonna be there until you find your piece of mindCome back when you ask to go back, but it’s just a shame when they put you out
Look at whatever you fought at turn around to make it better than that and
Wait a little, want a little, give in a little
Shut it down and
Have a little, hurt a little, won’t you waste a little
Put it out andI called to the echoes of all the
Records to find me
Without turning away from what my senses say to
Tune in tune out to youCome back when you ask to go back, but it’s just a shame when they put you out
Look at whatever you fought at turn around to make it better than that and
Wait a little, want a little, give in a little
Shut it down and
Have a little, hurt a little, won’t you waste a little
Put it out and
