It’s been a long time, but we didn’t want too much of 2013 to pass us by without a new Freshman to feature! For the uninitiated or in case you need a reminder, this is where we spotlight artists who are developing their following, and are still working on establishing themselves. Remember it’s important that you, the readers, vote either thumbs up or thumbs down on these posts because this will help us decide which of these artists can graduate from The Freshmen and be a part of the regular rotation of a-Tunes Music News.
Naeya is a Filipino-American artist that hales form the Bay but currently resides in Los Angeles. She started to first make her mark like so many of our artists have done in the past, by singing covers on Youtube. After gaining a little traction, she released her first EP, Addicted, just a few months ago, in November of 2012 (Amazon, Google Play, iTunes, Spotify). Though she’s still growing her fanbase, it appears the artist has got some industry pull behind her, as she’s already gotten herself a VEVO channel, where she’s debuted the music video to her title track.
So now that’s you’ve seen the music video and heard what Naeya has to offer, it’s time for the moment of truth. Use the all too familiar thumbs up and down buttons to cast your vote to determine if you want to continue to see coverage of Naeya here on the pages of a-Tunes. We believe she’s got a lot of promise, but the greatest question of all is – what do you think? Thumbs up? Thumbs down? Her (a-Tunes) fate is in your hands!
