Wendy Wang, whom some of you may know better as The Sweet Hurt, has embarked on a new project called Hoping Machine, a collaborative effort with Melissa Ryan. Wang has offered up a preview of “Gate”, with her handling the music and Ryan taking care of the lyrics. It’s not too often you get to hear Wendy on something a little more upbeat – check it out.
