Battling has always been a mainstay of Hip-Hop dance culture, but I can pretty much guarantee you’ve never seen it presented quite like this. Mike Song, an admitted Final Fantasy fanatic, has taken his love for the RPG series and used his passion for dance to pay a stylized homage combining the two. He enlisted the help of a few friends, mainly from Quest Crew and his Kinjaz brethren, along with some very talented video folks to bring this project to fruition and make it a reality. It’s an impressive and entertaining watch, through and through.
f I had the budget to make an entire dance movie… it would probably look a little something like this. In lieu of the new Final Fantasy releases, I wanted to create another video in the spirit of the Final Fantasy franchise. What started off as nothing but a simple “fantasy” (ha…ha…), transformed into an entire production. This is the first time I’ve tried to organize something with this many heavy hitters involved. It was definitely a learning process, but I am so grateful to have been able to collaborate with so many talented individuals on so many different levels. This would not have been possible without every single person who was involved with this project.
