Required Reading: David Choi Waxes Poetic on Being a Bearded Asian

Buzzfeed can be an entertaining if not formulaic website – but there’s no denying their content caters heavily to those of us with short attention spans and a predilection for lists. So when I saw that David Choi had “written” a piece for the website, I thought I should check it out. I’m glad I did. It’s a silly collection of thoughts regarding his decision to grow out his beard the past few months and though there are no life-shattering epiphanies, it’s a humorous way to wind down your Monday evening.

Singer/Songwriter David Choi promised his fans he wouldn’t shave until he finished recording his album. Well recording is complete, and here are some of his beard photos by photographer Melly Lee.
