If there’s one thing I can appreciate about music the past few years, it’s that R&B has made a subtle comeback. It’s not the tried and true Rhythm and Blues from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, but the genre has taken cues from all over to form something of a mixed blend. We do like to focus on original content here at a-Tunes, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t put the spotlight on some great covers as well once in aw hile. Although this doesn’t quite signal the return of the slow jam, if you like your music with just a little bit extra soul and a smooth groove, then I think this collection of recent-ish covers of R&B-ish songs is something you’ll enjoy.
