May was a pretty busy month for yours truly, but with it’s final hours ticking away, I wanted to take a moment to share a very special project that we were involved with for AAPI Heritage Month. One of the best parts of running this site for the past 8 years has been being able to connect with folks from across the community, and recently the homie Richie Traktavist of Traktavist.com reached out to a number of us music and media folk to help curate a Spotify playlist on behalf of the White House Initiative on AAPIs. It was an incredible opportunity for us to handpick and assemble a list to represent the broad spectrum of AAPI musical artists and community as a whole.
But enough with the yapping. I encourage you to check out the playlist in it’s entirety below. Blast it at home, in the car, or even at work as it is SFW and show some love and support for some of our communities greatest acts! I dunno if Obama himself is bumping this playlist, but you definitely should.
