12 years ago, a new Ruff Ryders signee, known for his free styling abilities and winning audiences over on BET, made a cameo appearance on the 2nd installment in the Fast & the Furious series, 2 Fast 2 Furious. Jin Au-Yeung had a small role as Jimmy the Mechanic, to the delight of Hip-Hop heads and fans of Asian-American artists everywhere.
Oh, and he also had a track on the soundtrack – the forgotten song, “Peel Off”.
We thought it was only appropriate to revisit this moment in cinematic history as Furious 7 continues to go on an absolute tear, posting $800+Million in only two weekends thus far. RIP, Paul.
