Saving Thomas x Decipher x Jason Min Are “Reaching Out”

Philly stand up! Three staples of the AA music scene in the Illadelph have collabed on a new track called “Reaching Out”. You got band Saving Thomas, rapper Decipher and one-man show Jason Min all one track, mixed and mastered courtesy of Andy Ha (Repercussion Studios). Just wanted to share this track with you now, but I’ll have to update with my thoughts on it later after I get a chance to hear it myself.

[update] Just heard the track. I gotta say, I’m a pretty big fan. On paper it’s kind of an odd mix of talent but they all blended together beautifully here and created a pretty great song. Props to everyone involved, this is a winner. [/update]

Sam Ock x Jason Min & Others Form New Project Group – June

Wow. These guys are pretty good at keeping things on the DL, but Sam Ock & Jason Min, along with Elias Yoon and Evan Chapmen have formed a side project group called June, named after the month they got together and cranked out some records. Along with announcing the group, they’ve also gone ahead and dropped their debut EP (self titled). It’s only a few tracks but it’s a great mash up of acoustic styles and creativity. I’m looking forward to letting this one marinate in the playlist for a little while. It’s a free DL so don’t miss out!

Jason Min Releases An Original “The Man And His Wife”

I can say this dude is very talented at what he does.  He recently performed at a show called Inspire ’11 and performed very well!  Especially how loud the crowd got after his songs.  Due to the snow we’ve gotten on the east coast, Jason was able to record his new song that he performed at Inspire.  Jason said the snow was a blessing in disguise and I totally agree cause we get to enjoy his musical talent.  He has his certain something that every musician has but you don’t know what it is.  I can’t wait to see whats more in store for Jason.

Jason Min Releases the MV for “Sleep”

Singer Jason Min has just stepped up the promotion of his new self titled EP by releasing the MV for the song “Sleep”. The track is actually a cover of Azure Ray. The MV isn’t fancy, and keeps it simple and clean with the entire production focusing on Jason on a stage. I think there could have been some more creative use of lighting in the video though the song itself is great in my opinion.

Jason Min Drops Self Titled EP

Jason Min, former lead of the band Miss Vintage, has dropped his self-titled EP, and from what I’ve been hearing, a lot of people have been giving it a lot of critical praise. It’s a 5 song release that was mixed and mastered by another artist, Koo Chung. Jinny Kim also has guest vocals on the EP. If you’re the kind of person who likes to try before you buy (nothing wrong with that) you can check out a couple tracks via the widget below. If you’re ready to pull the trigger, click the cover above to visit his store!
