We haven’t had a “News Quickies” in a while and it’s because we’ve been pretty good at disseminating information as it happens in a timely fashion but in this case I’ve really fallen behind on covering the acoustic singer Lilian Bui.
Most recently she posted up a cover of the pop standard ‘Just the Way You Look Tonight’, mixing vocals and instrumentation along with the initial audio/video take (similar to Kina Grannis’s style).
She’s also released three more original songs since our last post on her (and a few covers). This girl definitely as a unique, ethereal style. I can’t wait till she releases some high quality studio versions of her tracks.
