Jenny Hyun, a talented singer in her own right, has posted up a video where she goes off on the current state of the music industry and the lack of Asian representation in the market. The rant seems to be fueled by some kind of personal matter but despite her flamboyant frustration she does touch upon some valid points. As an artist trying to make it, I can understand why she’s venting in such a manner though I’m not sure it’s the most effective way to solve anything. She’s been doing this for years though, so the woman deserves a chance to speak her mind.

Hi there! I just wanted to let you and everyone else reading this know that the rant video I made was a complete joke. It’s true that there are not enough Asians in the music industry, but obviously anger and hatred is NEVER the way to accomplish anything in life. 🙂
