Adele is an artist that’s fairly difficult to cover given her unique raspy voice and immense talent but Gerald Ko and Jasmine Rafael decided to give it a swing anyways, and though it wasn’t a home run they did a decent job overall. The two tackled the current radio single “Rolling in the Deep” and Gerald did a great job recreating the instrumental while Jasmine held her own, especially considering her main forte is dance not song. Overall they didn’t quite have enough edge and soul in their voices to do a perfect cover, it was enjoyable nonetheless, especially taking the video into account.
