3. Decipher – “Angry Asian Man” ft  Manifest & DJ Zo (article)

When I learned that Philly’s Decipher was going to release an MV to “Angry Asian Man”, I was both excited and worried. The song’s focus on racism would be tricky to navigate on a visual medium without coming off too preachy or even reverse-racist. But De & company managed to walk the fine line by setting it in the shoes of a young boy, and anchoring it with direction that is both satirical and humorous. Add in the ingenious method of displaying Manifest’s international contribution and you’re left with a dope visual.
