6. Melissa Polinar – “This Road” (article)
MYX TV tends to put out some great footage of artists performing live on the network’s shows. But this particular watch was my favorite from last year’s bunch. It’s not too often we see the underrated Melissa Polinar outside of a webcam setting, but it’s clear from this video that she can handle a bigger stage with ease. Her bluesy, raspy, soulful vocals are always a blessing for sore ears, and she doesn’t miss a note singing her single, “This Road” from her As of Now EP.
