Catch a Sneak Peak of Goh Nakamura’s “Avenues”

Interested in getting a sneak peek at new tunage from Goh Nakamura? He’s posted up a snippet of a song called “Avenues” in demo form, along with some lo-fi lomography video footage. The relaxed folk-pop song has promise, and hopefully it’ll retain it’s  charm once completed in studio form.

somewhere, underground
deaf and blind with your headphones on
I understand, and yes, it’s fine
it’s just the way I miss the way your hand fit in mine

I’m an ampersand
in the fickle files of your rolodex plans
and the streets are short, the avenues are long
and I longed for you for oh so long

I combed this town from train to train
to find the words to things I can’t explain
but I came up short, and your face grew long

I longed for you for oh so long

and the song was short, but the silence was long
and I longed for you for oh so long
