Avid readers of our humble blog should be able to tell that we’re big fans of The Jubilee Project and everything that they do through their passion for video and media. So we use whatever excuse we can to feature their work on this music blog, just to share about things bigger than music. In their latest project, they’ve created a short film inspired by the life of Christine Ha, a blind woman who went on to win Master Chef last year. Check it out and be sure to read up on all the additional details below. Oh and the clip features “Baby It’s You” by Arden Cho and “Something to Believe In” by New Heights.
Why? Just’ Cause.
Based on a true story, this film is about pursuing your dreams no matter the odds.
In 2003, Christine Ha was diagnosed with a disease that caused her blindness. She didn’t think that she could move on, and felt devastated and alone. But through her love for cooking and the people around her, she started to see her purpose in life. By picking herself up, Christine became the first blind contestant on the hit reality TV show, MasterChef.
