OK. We get that video quality and productions values aren’t everything. But in a world ruled by Youtube, it sure does mean a lot and can leave a huge impression. The following list isn’t by any means comprehensive, but it’s just a small sample of artist we believe could use some higher production values in their online videos. Sure, some do throw in a decent MV here or there, but many of these videos (often cover songs) are still being shot on webcams, Flipcams, smart phones and tablets. Come on, it ain’t 2009 any more. I understand that it’s much quicker to shoot and upload with minimal editing, and that’s fine in a pinch, but these visuals just aren’t doing their artists justice!
