Youtube is holding the Youtube Music Awards (#YTMA) and a number of Asian/Asian-American artists have landed as finalist nominees. For the record, I think this is a great way to recognize leaders of the new medium known as streaming video, but I think the voting process is kind of clunky and confusing. Either way, Psy, Girls Generation, Toro Y Moi, and jayesslee have found themselves in the running to take top honors in a number of categories, with Psy being nominated in 3 all together!
