Do you know what a sheng is? Well I didn’t either until I came across this clip on the lovely space known as the internet. This girl (student?) plays the sheng to fairly accurately recreate music and sound effects from Super Mario Brothers. Who knew something dating as far back as 1100 BC could be just as comforting as the 8-bit sounds of my childhood?
