Jung Jihoon, better known to most as the K-Pop star Rain, hasn’t exactly had the most impressive Western media resume. His reported plans to enter into the music world in this hemisphere never really materialized, and instead we’ve seen him focus on films. His most prominent role came in the form as the lead actor in Ninja Assassin, along with a small part in Speed Racer.
However his next project looks to be the most promising yet. He’s starring in an action flick called The Prince, with a supporting role to the likes of Bruce Willis, John Cusack and Jason Patric (and even 50 cent). Though it’s not a leading role, this may just become the highest grossing project he’s been involved with thus far and hopefully it will open more doors – either musically or for film.
Look for the movie to hit theaters on this side of the glove on August 22nd of this year.
