I can’t believe this track is 12 years old! But back when Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park still rapped, yet before his all-Hip-Hop stint with For Minor, he and resident LP DJ, Joe Hahn, linked up with the turntabalists known as the X-Ecutioners. The result is this track off X’s albums, Built From Scratch and it’s got raps and scratches aplenty.
I used to love this song – I can’t believe I nearly forgot about it. I’m glad Shinoda & Hahn are still doing their thing with Linkin Park after all these years, but I wouldn’t mind seeing them branch out like this a little more often.
