It looks to be a very exciting year for year for Alfa. After getting engaged, news has hit the wire that she is now an official artist for Pacific Records! Here is the official press release:
Los Angeles based folk/pop songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alfa is gearing up for a busy 2015, having just inked a record deal with Pacific Records! Alfa will begin the recording of her next full-length album over the next three months at Pacific Records Studios in San Diego and a release date will likely be announced within that timeframe. Alfa is supported by Kawai, Breedlove, Mya-Moe Ukuleles, Fishman, and D’Addario, and recently performed a demo at the Hal Leonard booth at NAMM 2015 alongside Hamilton Stands. No stranger to live audiences, she has performed in notable venues like Lincoln Center in NYC, Troubadour in West Hollywood, and The Shrine in L.A.
Music Connection Magazine calls Alfa, “An artist who has a spectrum of colors in her palette, a songwriter with a knack for tickling a mainstream ear”.
Alfa has placed songs on MTV, E!, CMJ Top 200, and independent films like “Baby Steps” (from the producer of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”) and “Old Fashioned” (Skoche Films), while touring independently throughout the U.S. and her native Philippines.
We couldn’t be more excited for Alfa and look forward to hearing the new material from this exciting venture with Pacific Records.
