You can add another ‘Down’ cover to the list but this is one to remember. AJ Rafael teamed up with the incredible R&B group Ahmir for a great, slowed down rendition of the huge pop hit by Jay Sean.
These guys all sounded incredible together. Though it was kind of humorous how much bigger Ahmir was than the AJ and Andrew.
these guys are good friends of mine and the first time i met them was for a video collab for the song “I Thought She Knew” by NSYNC. after that, we stayed in touch, they performed at a show i put together called MUSIC SPEAKS: Boston, and then we made this video. this is the result of us having less than 2 hours to make something happen… seriously the first time of us just playing around with this song sounded very very similar to this final product– that’s how good these guys are!
