Southern rapper Jackie Chain has dropped a new street album/mixtape called Who Da Mane that’s a collaboration with producer Block Beattaz, Ballers Eve and DJ BurnOne. The album includes his single “Mack A Bitch” along with 8 other standard cuts and 3 bonus joints. Upon the initial listen through, I can tell you this isn’t a lyrical gold mine, but it is a fairly catchy southern party album. This album prob ain’t for everyone, but I will say it’s accessible enough that even I found a way to appreciate some of it, and I’m not even that big a fan of southern Hip-Hop music. This mixtape serves as a precursor to his album dropping on Universal early next year. And for the cost of a tweet, it’s a free DL. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
