Magnet has a new interview out with Rachael Yamagata, fresh off the release of her album Chesapeake. The best thing about the interview is probably the fact they dive a little deeper into the music making process, discussing specifics of various songs along with how and why things are on the record or not. Instead of starting of focusing on the person and then touching upon the craft they do the opposite; letting the discussion of the art speak for it’s creator. A recommended and easy read.
