Just ‘Cause: The Youngest String Quartet Ever

Ugh. I’m so glad I didn’t grow up in today’s age of Youtube and social media. Because my life would have sucked if my Mother had clips of these kids to compare me to. I took up the violin in 4th grade and went on to play a grand total of 8 and a half days. I complained that my neck hurt so I quit, forever bringing dishonor to my family. I’m pretty sure this is why my parents still give my younger sister a thicker red envelope every Lunar New Year.

I made most of that up, but I did in fact quit the violin as a kid (along with piano, guitar, art lessons, cub scouts, soccer, football, and swim team…) and it’s probably for the best because I could never compare to these amazing kids from the Joyous Music School, based out of Long Island, New York. On the other hand, 8 year old me could probably kick their butts on the Sega Genesis.

See what I mean for yourself…

Double You. Tea. Eff. Everyone in that age group, quit now, cause Julliard screwed if you ever try to compete with these kids down the road.

Why? Just ‘Cause.
