2. Magnetic North x Taiyo Na – “Home:Word” ft Sam Kang (article)

With “Home:Word” Mag North & Taiyo Na bravely chose to promote a single that focuses on family values and the dynamic of the Asian-American family. Putting together a video would be a challenge to avoid being cheesy or relying on evoking cheap emotional responses but under the direction of Wong Fu they pulled it off brilliantly. Maybe it’s because I was able to personally relate to much of the video but I found this to be an entertaining, real, and heartfelt watch.
